Can I request a song?

We're delighted to accommodate one special request for you, typically reserved for weddings, often designated as the first dance. Additionally, you can share your top 10 preferences from our repertoire, ensuring we tailor the performance to your preferences. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to submit up to 30 requests for the playlist between our sets, guaranteeing that you'll hear all your favourite tunes throughout the evening.

How long does it take to set up?

Our setup process typically takes up to 90 minutes. If you're planning a wedding or event where the evening reception occurs in the same room as your meal, we often start the setup while the room is being turned around. In such cases, we can have background music playing as soon as possible. This ensures a seamless transition and an early ambiance for your guests to enjoy.

How long can you play for?

We deliver a comprehensive entertainment package for your event, featuring 2 x 60-minute live sets (or 3 x 40 minutes) in the evening.

Can you play earlier in the day?

Certainly! We offer the option to include a 1 x 60-minute acoustic band set as an add-on to your package. This is ideal for creating a pleasant atmosphere during drinks or dinner. For more details on this additional option, you can find further information here.

Do you provide all the equipment?

Absolutely! All necessary equipment is included in the price. You won't need to worry about hiring any additional equipment separately; it's all part of the package.

What does "price from" mean?

The published guide price is calculated for our 4-piece lineup and applies to venues within a 30-mile radius of Newbury. Additional travel costs will be incurred for venues situated beyond this distance. If your venue is more than a 2-hour drive from our base, we may charge an extra fee to cover accommodation expenses. My venue has a noise limiter, can you work with it?

Certainly! We have experience working at venues with noise limiters, and we are more than willing to proactively reach out to the venue ahead of the event. This ensures that we gather all the necessary information to plan accordingly and adhere to any noise restrictions in place.

Can you perform my first dance?

Absolutely! With a minimum of four weeks' notice, we are more than happy to learn and perform the first dance of your choice. This personalised touch adds a special and memorable element to your celebration. Feel free to provide us with the details, and we'll ensure it becomes a cherished part of your event.

Can I hear you play my first dance before the date?

Unfortunately not. We aren't able to offer recordings of your first dance before the date.

How much space do you need?

We have experience performing in various settings, including smaller spaces. However, for an optimal setup and performance, we recommend a minimum area of around 3m x 5m. This ensures that we can deliver an enjoyable and comfortable musical experience for you and your guests. If you have specific space considerations or constraints, feel free to discuss them with us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

do I need to feed the band?

The band's standard rider requests a hot meal and soft drinks for all band members. Alternatively, there is an option for a £25 per person plus sound engineer rider buyout. Providing a meal ensures that the band members are energised and ready to deliver an outstanding performance for your event.

can we see you before we boook?

Being a professional function band, our bookings primarily revolve around weddings and private events where, unfortunately, we are unable to invite guests.
